No podemos traducir nombres ni de <em>personas f\u00edsicas<\/em> ni de <em>personas jur\u00eddicas<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Pero m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de este cl\u00e1sico ejemplo de palabras que deben quedar como en el original, hay otros casos de palabras que no deben traducirse: los <em>s\u00edmbolos internacionales<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>El caso m\u00e1s claro en este sentido son los s\u00edmbolos de los <em>elementos qu\u00edmicos<\/em>: <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Elemento_qu%C3%ADmico\">https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Elemento_qu%C3%ADmico<\/a>. Vale decir, si en nuestro original aparece \u201cNa\u201d, no lo traducimos por \u201cSod.\u201d, sino que en la traducci\u00f3n al espa\u00f1ol queda \u201cNa\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Y lo mismo ocurre con los <em>sistemas de longitud<\/em>: las abreviaturas quedan en ingl\u00e9s y no las traducimos: <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sistema_Anglosaj%C3%B3n_de_Unidades\">https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sistema_Anglosaj%C3%B3n_de_Unidades<\/a>. Vale decir, si en nuestro original aparece \u201c12 in\u201d, no lo traducimos por \u201c12 pulg.\u201d, sino que en la traducci\u00f3n al espa\u00f1ol queda \u201c12 in\u201d. Lo que s\u00ed podemos hacer es convertir una medida de un sistema a otro.
