Being an Account Manager can be very stressful and frustrating at times, especially when one is selling many small projects or no projects at all. It can also occur that a client sends you updated documents a few days after the translation project has been sold, which complicates matters for the entire translation team and the Account Manager. Being an activity within the services sector, it is very important to focus on meeting all the needs and wants of a client. This can mean meeting crazy deadlines, or dealing with highly technical manuals, but our goal is always to do the best and focus strongly on the end result, which is to have a happy and satisfied client.
